text Kevin Rudd: nobody’s man cleaves, Friday, Aug 3 2007, 1:00pm
Who or what is a Kevin Rudd? Who does he represent, what distinguishes him from his conservative opponent, John Howard? In answer to the first question, NOTHING, Rudd is a proven non-entity; he represents no one I am able to locate, notwithstanding many Australians will vote against Howard but not for Rudd. There is nothing that distinguishes Rudd from Howard; he is only a paler version, a conservative with a lower case “c”. Rudd has supported Howard on more occasions than he has opposed him – and for those who may be wondering, yes, Rudd is the ‘opposition’ leader.

text Talking Walls peptide, Saturday, Jul 7 2007, 1:50pm
The mainstream press is full of stories but for ONE BIG exception; a FAILURE the proportions of which promise to sear the pages of history. The criminal intervention and the subsequent holocaust and humanitarian disaster that is Western Interventionist Iraq! The media is at pains to avoid this story for obvious reasons -- it participated in the original ruse and deception upon which a full-scale military invasion was launched. The list of war criminals must therefore include the name of Rupert Murdoch as he clearly carries equal responsibility with Bush, Cheney, Blair, Howard and the conservative forces that support them. Arrests for war crimes must extend to Murdoch and other complicit media moguls/organisations – Murdoch is damned by his own words, delivered in numerous speeches and addresses to his fellow criminal conservatives.

Unlike Alexander, a fool contemplates untying a 'Gordian knot' image The K.I.S.S. Principle Kismo, Saturday, Jun 30 2007, 3:25pm
For those not familiar with the acronym ‘KISS’, it expands to, “Keep It Simple Stupid”! The KISS (K) principle was/is the most invaluable teaching/training aid in the IT industry, especially in the early days when people actually feared the ‘complexity’ of computers. Anyone who is confronted by an overwhelming amount of ‘information’ tends to lose themselves in a sea of confusion. Fortunately, a very bright and creative mind developed the ‘K’ principle for dealing with these situations. (story and 1 image)

People today seem perplexed as civilisation as we know it plummets into the abyss. Yet, in the broad sense, the future is entirely predictable. The much lauded system of economic rationalism has resulted in huge disparities in wealth comparable to ancient societies; the wealth of Pharaoh-God-Kings of the past was staggering and in stark contrast to the wealth of their subjects. The peoples’ living standards were maintained at ‘adequate‘ levels to ensure a fit work/slave force for their rulers – remind you of anything, are you able to draw any comparisons today? In fact ancient Egypt (utilising modern poverty statistics) would have fared better in the social sense than most of today’s societies. So much for economic rationalism and laissez-faire capitalism! The inequity of today’s economic reality is far from mysterious; however, one mystery remains, the masses of today tolerate far greater inequities than the masses of yesterday. (story and 2 images)

Bird of Paradise image Mind Slaves of Our Time fish, Saturday, Jun 23 2007, 1:08pm
The title suggests the sci-fi genre or the paranoid delusions of conspiracy theorists; surely it couldn’t be possible that millions of people today are slaves to particular worldviews formulated by men in the distant past. Views that enslave, terrorise and create a subservient population. Intolerant views that challenge refutation with physical and psychological violence. Preposterous views that cripple the reasoning faculties and the intellect -- men flying and living inside whales, materialisations, stories relating to sociopathic, blood lusting, faecal-eating Gods.

Prior to the last reference most would have already guessed religion as the most likely pathogen responsible for most of today’s social ills. (story and 1 comment and 2 images)

The real 'burning bush': 72,000 vital currents (nadis) image Training Tips for Uber Warriors nano, Sunday, Jun 3 2007, 1:17pm
The physical and mental well being of the Uber Warrior (UW) is of the utmost importance. With the heightened senses that a clear mind and supple body provide, the UW easily defeats the mentally and physically constipated, amphetamine soaked, technologically dependent, soldiers of the west. Not generally known is the damage the U.S. military inflicts on its own troops – burnout and paranoid psychosis result from inappropriate training methods and dangerous chemical ‘combat enhancers’, dextroamphetamine, etc. The strength of the UW resides principally in his/her consciousness, which in turn resides in a toxin free vital body.

The primary weapons of the UW are therefore the mind and body – with these two well-honed weapons he easily overcomes the enemy and reigns supreme. The following routines have been tested and proven over centuries, they remain at the pinnacle of psychophysical culture. (story and 2 comments and 1 image)

Oil Wars: Halliburton wins, you lose! image The Art of Flower Arranging gan, Thursday, May 17 2007, 6:31pm
The uninformed are rejoicing over the forced resignation of Paul (bouquet of flowers) Wolfowitz from the World (US) Bank; the resignation of Tony (45 minutes) Blair as British prime minister; the foregone demise of George (WMD, mission accomplished) Bush and the likely elimination of John (aluminium tubing) Howard as Australian prime minister. However, rejoicing may be premature as the gangrenous infection in the body of humanity has not been completely excised. (story and 2 images)

sunrise.jpg image The nature of God – and I ought to Know! major mitchell, Tuesday, May 8 2007, 2:36pm
[No apologies for the title, as it applies to everyone.] In today’s world far too many killers and murderers are utilising religion as a method of social manipulation, control and (believe it if you would face the reality of your ‘religion’) to JUSTIFY MURDER, THEFT and WAR! If that in itself doesn’t sound an alarm in the heads of all devotees of the ONE nameless, peerless, INFINITE God of ALL, then please go for a walk or entertain yourself with something else, this paper is NOT for you! text Holocaust Denial yarra, Thursday, Apr 26 2007, 1:23pm
When is holocaust denial not a crime? When the victims are not Jews it would seem! As the world begins to target the lies and excesses of conservative governments, coalition leaders are becoming more nervous and agitated as each day passes. But the monstrous oversight of all opposition parties – and it’s not accidental – is continued holocaust denial. There is no dismissing the figures from a world-renowned authoritative journal (Lancet). The 660,000 civilian dead in Iraq CONSTITUTE A HOLOCAUST in any ‘language’. The screaming figures can no longer be dismissed, avoided or denied nor can the RESPONSIBILITY for the CRIMES. (story and 2 comments)

If a single quote could sum up the ‘ability and acumen’ of the Bush administration Rumsfeld’s classic of, “the past was not predictable when it started”, would have to be a front runner. Years from now students will read early 21st century American history with incredulity and dismay. Who could blame any high school student for thinking that historians got it wrong? How could a person with the logic of a mad hatter rise to the position of Defence Secretary in the world’s most powerful military nation; and how could the President of the day consider that person a valuable asset/adviser? CRUDE Oil -- Banksy image Bush, Somalia and the Future fish, Wednesday, Jan 10 2007, 1:44pm
Bush’s impending demise is marked by frantic and desperate attempts to portray the illegal Iraq invasion and subsequent plunder of the precious oil resource, as a war of “noble” intent! Wars based on deception, lies and plunder, with over half a million civilian casualties, would be difficult to record as anything other than what they are – theft, murder and neo-colonial expansionism at any cost. Unfortunately for Bush and his neo-cons, the Truth regarding Iraq is widely known and it is that knowledge which will enter the historical record, not the drivel that issues from the mouths of imbeciles and psychopaths! Crime Inc. image The Downside of ‘Liberation Democracy’ dingo, Monday, Nov 27 2006, 8:30pm
A recent study highlighting the rapid expansion of organised criminal activity in those areas where NATO and the U.S. have engaged in aggressive military intervention offers further evidence of the lasting negative social consequences of foreign occupation by neo-colonial powers. As corporate driven America attempts to assert its dominance over weaker nations, organised crime, quick to exploit traumatised societies, becomes the principal beneficiary in the 'war on terror' and the spread of ‘democracy, liberty’ and free market capitalism – what is good for capitalist America is even better for a crime boss! Foreboding has hit the ranks of private equity firms; try as they might to unload vast amounts of funds (monetary value is inextricably linked to the movement of those funds) they have been unable to spend/invest at a rate that would sustain value let alone increase real profits! The ‘healthy figures’ reflecting increased acquisitions/investments are on paper only – it ‘looks good’ at the moment!

text Ludicrous Assumptions gan, Friday, Nov 17 2006, 7:02pm
Ludicrous assumptions are many but perhaps the most absurd is the assumption that those who steal the greater percentage of available wealth and continue to implement economic strategies designed to enslave are (somehow) safe and secure. From the Pacific islands to the pitch battles in Mainland China, exploited people of the world are retaliating against injustice.

One medium size cauliflower, $3.46, bananas remain at $13/kilo at Coles Meyer supermarkets as of 8/11. Australian food prices at the grass roots Mr. (incompetent economic manager) Howard. John Howard is without doubt Australia’s biggest liar, racist, war criminal and scoundrel Prime Minister; he is also proving to be a thoroughly incompetent economic manager – just across the Tasman bananas remain at $2/kilo. The hard times (water shortages) haven’t hit yet but they soon will; can you imagine Howard’s performance in a real crisis if the above prices are an example of his management in relatively easy times? Relinquish nothing – effect everything. image Creation and Continuity finch, Sunday, Oct 8 2006, 12:09pm
From cave painting, totemism to pop, ART has always been the means by/through which a given ‘reality’ is created or re-arranged according to the will/desire/needs of the artist.

Who is it that declares ART today? Everyone is an artist and everything, including murder and war is Art! (story and 1 comment and 2 images)

BANKSY in Palestine -- balloon girl image Divisionism is Death finch, Wednesday, Sep 20 2006, 6:52am
A well-known method of subjugation utilised by conquerors and rulers alike is, “divide and conquer”; this strategy applies equally in times of war and peace. It may surprise many but this method remains the principal means of social control in today’s western societies. The primary divisive structure today is the (separate, ‘closed-door’) nuclear family and the principal divided unit is the psychically isolated, competitive individual. [It should be noted that the ‘individual’, as distinct from the group, is a relatively recent social creation.] (story and 2 images)

David Hicks: American Injustice image Hicks, Guantanamo and the Howard Government dingo, Monday, Aug 14 2006, 1:37pm
Good, bad or just plain stupid, David Hicks remains an Australian son. Democratic nations have a responsibility to protect their citizens in times of need; a number of democratic nations have already successfully repatriated their citizens from the illegal torture centre of Guantanamo Bay; however, after a period of four years the Howard government has been unable or unwilling to effect the repatriation of David Hicks.

If a truly strong case against Hicks existed it surely would have been prosecuted to the full advantage of the terrorist scare campaign that Bush constantly wages on the American people. The fact that the USA is loath to give Hicks a fair and open trial, and in view of the obvious manipulative tactics utilised by corrupt U.S. ‘legal’ officers to delay proceedings, it would appear that the grounds upon which the U.S. military have based their ‘case’ is extremely flimsy and/or could attract litigation for illegal detention, torture and human rights abuses! The world we live in today is characterised by States adopting the methodologies of organised crime. The traditional methods of criminal organizations have been legitimised by expropriation; no longer are deception, violence, theft, disregarding social codes/contracts the sole province of the sub-culture of organised crime they are now openly employed methods of various conservative governments around the globe – most notably, the USA, UK and Australia.

Cardinal Pell image The Cardinal and the Bondi Boy cleaves, Sunday, Jun 25 2006, 1:47pm
Just prior to the appointment of Ratzinger to Pontiff, I happened to cross the path of Cardinal George Pell in Pitt Street, Sydney, early one evening. I couldn’t help (politely) inquiring of him whether he was a man of God. He responded, much to my amazement, “I don’t know about, ‘man of God’, I am a Catholic Priest!” Regardless of anything previously stated by various commentators, his answer to me was forthright, candid and accurate (by his own admission). I was somewhat disarmed by his candour and manner, which was in contrast to his bearing and physical stature, he is a huge man around 6’ 5”, I would guess. (story and 1 image)
