killerbot.jpg imagePDF Document Pentagon exploring robot killers that can fire on their own Robert S. Boyd via fleet, Thursday, Mar 26 2009, 10:37am
WASHINGTON — The unmanned bombers that frequently cause unintended civilian casualties in Pakistan are a step toward an even more lethal generation of robotic hunters-killers that operate with limited, if any, human control. (story and 1 comment and 1 image and 1 attached file)

text Taliban Truce and the Coming Storm in South Asia Tom Burghardt via rialator, Sunday, Mar 8 2009, 8:59am
With growing instability and political turmoil inside Afghanistan and Pakistan, due in no small measure to American efforts on both sides of the "Afpak" divide to "stabilize" the region for multinational energy companies, this spring will see the rise of combat operations inside both countries.

text Short memories and cowardice among ‘Superpowers’ birdie, Tuesday, Mar 3 2009, 12:41am
The avowed enemy of Russia, China and the entire free world, as the crimes of the past decade clearly indicate, is the criminal, terrorist (by any definition) USA! But what is Russia and China actually doing to forever hamstring this evil, mass murdering influence and prevent it wreaking more horror and havoc on the world? (story and 1 comment)

No prizes for guessing the world’s NUMBER 1 incarcerator is the USA! Yessiree Bob, that utopian/dystopian capitalist wonderland/HELL is fast approaching its FATE – America is about to confront itself! The portrait of Dorian Gray looks like a Cherub in comparison. (story and 2 comments)

Obama formally sanctions the inappropriate use of RC weapon image Obama approved drone missile strike in Pakistan major mitchell, Sunday, Jan 25 2009, 9:44am
Obama has been ‘blooded’ by his handlers. Obama, fully cognisant of the consequences of his action, approved a drone missile strike that targeted and killed innocent civilians in Pakistan! Get used to it because it’s the nature of modern American warfare (MURDER). For every targeted individual at least 10 innocent civilians also die; missiles launched from 30,000 feet could hardly be considered precision weapons. ‘Pilots’ flying drone missions from secret US locations are able to treat their job like any other 9 to 5 occupation; ‘collateral damage’ is an 'unfortunate' consequence of modern American criminal warfare -- where is Geneva? Bush and Olmert image Gaza, murder to a timetable! finn, Monday, Jan 19 2009, 5:07pm
Wanton destruction, wholesale vandalism, indiscriminate murder and ALL ON CUE; that is Gaza today! Israel (America) has called a unilateral ceasefire in Gaza; scorched earth and indiscriminate killing interfere with nice ‘clean’ inauguration ceremonies in Washington! If anyone required emphatic proof of a CONCERTED arrangement, rigged INTERNATIONAL COURTS and a dummy UN you now have it in Gaza – any Englishman would tell you that a good game of cricket is punctuated with tea and lunch breaks, dear chap! text Focus on the source of the problem nano, Sunday, Jan 18 2009, 1:33am
Sometimes I wonder whether I should extol the virtues of NOT drinking tap water – I haven’t touched the stuff in decades. What is glaringly obvious to me seems mysterious or esoteric to others – get a grip! The CURE in Gaza and the Middle East in general, is to hold AMERICAN WAR CRIMINALS AND SUPPORTERS OF ISRAEL’S WARS (murder sprees) TO ACCOUNT! I am of course referring to the outgoing Bush administration, which has supported, militarily and politically, all recent conflicts in the Middle East! Israel wouldn’t dare make an aggressive move in the region without American approval AND SUPPORT! Now take a good, long, cool drink of filtered water and wake up to yourselves.

Tom Friedman image A Perfect Definition of 'Terrorism' Glenn Greenwald via rialator, Wednesday, Jan 14 2009, 8:07pm
This war on the people of Gaza isn't really about rockets. Nor is it about "restoring Israel's deterrence," as the Israeli press might have you believe. Far more revealing are the words of Moshe Yaalon, then the Israeli Defense Forces chief of staff, in 2002: "The Palestinians must be made to understand in the deepest recesses of their consciousness that they are a defeated people." Cynthia McKinney image Sing it! Bye, bye, bye, Obama; fly, fly, fly, Credibility .. Staff report via talya, Thursday, Jan 1 2009, 9:11pm
Former Georgia Congresswoman Cynthia McKinney has called upon President-Elect Barack Obama to "please, say something about the humanitarian crisis that is being experienced by the Palestinian people, by the people of Gaza." McKinney spoke to CNN news from the Lebanese city of Tyre, where she had debarked from the relief vessel Dignity after it was rammed on the high seas by an Israeli patrol boat, early Tuesday morning. Passengers also report the Israelis fired machine guns into the water near their ship. (story and 1 comment and 1 image)

text Leaders LIE, civilians DIE, and lessons of history are IGNORED Robert Fisk via reed, Monday, Dec 29 2008, 8:02pm
We've got so used to the carnage of the Middle East that we don't care any more – providing we don't offend the Israelis. It's not clear how many of the Gaza dead are civilians, but the response of the Bush administration, not to mention the pusillanimous reaction of Gordon Brown, reaffirm for Arabs what they have known for decades: however they struggle against their antagonists, the West will take Israel's side. As usual, the bloodbath was the fault of the Arabs – who, as we all know, only understand force.

Dark foreboding hangs over the Capitol image Nice try, but … dev null, Sunday, Dec 28 2008, 9:10pm
The British PM, Gordon Brown, sent as clear a message with his recent “save the world” slip/gaffe in the British Commons as did grotesque rodent and former Oz PM, John Howard upon his return to Oz post 9/11. Howard’s body language spoke volumes at the time though his mouth spewed the usual LIES. Howard, as recorded on national TV news, behaved as though he was ducking a magpie attack, yet no dive-bombing maggies or other tangible threats from overhead were evident, very revealing behaviour indeed! Howard had just been briefed in Washington on the new world order -- as America fantasised it – he was clearly not a happy, CRINGING, LACKEY, COWARD at the time! (story and 1 image)

Little question all thinking people should ask – and it seems they are an endangered species these days -- how many US or NATO forces/soldiers have been tried for war crimes and other crimes against humanity at the Hague since 1999? Answer: none! A-M-A-Z-I-N-G! Now do a little research and discover for yourselves how many INNOCENT CIVILIANS these forces murder on a DAILY basis! text US starts New Cold War with Russia Paul Craig Roberts via reed, Friday, Dec 5 2008, 12:14am
Undeterred by massive budget deficits from wars, a falling economy, and financial bailouts, the US government has managed to start a new cold war with Russia. Last Friday, the Russian military announced that it was developing a new generation of ballistic missiles in response to the US government’s decision to deploy ballistic missile defenses in Poland and the Czech Republic.

We're back: Clinton as Sec. of State. 'Change?' image The SLAUGHTER of INNOCENTS and the rise of Terror gan, Friday, Nov 28 2008, 10:28pm
The Clinton presidency, which is directly responsible for the fragmentation of the Balkans, destabilising African nations -- especially Somalia, Sudan, Congo, Rwanda -- and imposing the now infamous child-killing embargos on pre-invasion Iraq, paved a course for the next (neocon) administration to follow; which it did but with even greater zeal and disregard for international law and convention than the Clinton administration. Untainted AIF Rising Sun, 1969 image ANZAC legacy tarnished by today’s ADF peptide, Thursday, Nov 27 2008, 10:03pm
I hoped I would never be required to confront the reality of Australian military forces consciously engaging in criminal assassinations -- methods usually associated with Israel’s IDF and the American mass murdering military. However, ABC journalists have recently uncovered the sordid activities of today’s (Howard’s and Rudd’s) ADF. And what a tragic day it is for Australia and its once proud and honourable defence force.
