text War Crimes Incorporated gan, Thursday, Jan 13 2011, 8:33pm
Today’s unwanted but NECESSARY home Truth is, Drone ‘warfare’ is a WAR CRIME. It kills far more civilians than combatants. It fuels VEHEMENT opposition to the U.S. and its puppet allies. But worst of all, it clearly indicates the FAILURE of the U.S. military and their best strategists to deal legally with modern warfare. (story and 1 comment)

text The Federal Reserve and the Pathology of Power charles hugh smith via stan, Saturday, Nov 20 2010, 5:35pm
The Federal Reserve is an example not just of run-of-the-mill hubris but of the far more profound Pathology of Power. The rule of law has been supplanted in the U.S. by self-serving propaganda campaigns serving State and financial Elites: this is the Pathology of Power. The Federal Reserve is an instructive example because it is so blatant.

The Australian Labor government is presently engaged in surrendering our sovereign nation to a foreign military occupation – US troops, vessels, ordinance will soon be a permanent feature of ‘Australian’ life! Not since former PM Keating – deregulating banks and floating currency -- has there been such an overt sell-out of our sovereignty. (story and 1 image)

Fed Chairman, 'money for nothing and the world for free!' image U.S. Launches Financial World War Michael Hudson via stan, Wednesday, Oct 13 2010, 6:28am
What is to stop U.S. banks and their customers from creating $1 trillion, $10 trillion or even $50 trillion on their computer keyboards to buy up all the bonds and stocks in the world, along with all the land and other assets for sale in the hope of making capital gains and pocketing the arbitrage spreads by debt leveraging at less than 1 per cent interest cost? This is the game that is being played today. (story and 1 comment and 1 image)

Citizens are only able to make informed decisions based on all available information -- and they are not getting it! Here's an alternative view on the global banking fiasco. (story and 1 comment)

The entire world -- with the exception of uneducated and uninformed Americans (naturally) -- is aware that 9/11 and the anthrax letters were an inside job designed to create hostile social divisions, extend executive powers, in order to facilitate WAR and ROB resource rich poorer nations of their sovereign wealth. In whose interests are these unspeakable atrocities committed? For the many CORPORATE interests that control America today -- as if YOU didn’t know! (story and 1 comment)

text Former Top CIA Spy: How US Intelligence Became Big Business Jeremy Scahill via fleet, Friday, Jul 9 2010, 7:45am
Few who have seen the dramatic privatization of US intelligence operations from the inside ever speak about the role private contractors play in covert operations--certainly not in public. In late June, however, the CIA's former top counterterrorism official, Robert Grenier, participated in a rare public discussion on issues ranging from the incredible extent to which the US has relied on contractors to fill sensitive national security positions; to battlefield contractors in Afghanistan; to allegations of contractor involvement in "direct action" (lethal) operations, as well as commenting on Blackwater owner Erik Prince's reported involvement in a secret CIA assassination program. The former spy also criticized what he called attempts by the US military to "overstep their bounds" by conducting intelligence operations that traditionally have fallen under the purview of the CIA.

PDF Document Wikileaks Soldier Reveals "360 Rotational Fire" Orders to Kill Civilians Ralph Lopez via gan, Friday, Jun 18 2010, 8:53pm
We can thank the arrogant, inept yanks for making plain the REAL state of political ‘play’ today; the USA is now, and has been for some decades, completely controlled by Banks, Corporations and Global Transnationals – as are most other western ‘democracies.’ With that FACT now firmly established by a PENTAGON release of a mineral wealth commercial assessment for invaded Afghanistan, it is now impossible to view American invasive warfare as anything other than what it is, criminal appropriation, mass murder and PLUNDER. A direct link to the culpable has also been established; a bold line of responsibility connects today's wars with the Boardrooms of the largest Corporations of the World. [Dragging reprehensible, murdering, psychopathic EXECUTIVES to the gallows, after due legal process, would be a MATTER OF COURSE -- inevitable!] Ed. (story and 1 attached file)

audioPDF Document Corporate Rule: Proof Irrefutable major mitchell, Monday, Jun 14 2010, 10:41pm
The now anachronistic ‘Department of Defense’ (DoD) recently released a commercial business assessment (see link) of Afghanistan's resource and mineral wealth, which has been measured in the hundreds of BILLIONS of DOLLARS -- a routine matter for Corporations BUT an extraordinary assessment by the Pentagon, which traditionally should be an arm of government charged with the responsibility of national security and defense! Perhaps a name change for the obsolete traditional military is warranted, how about the ‘Department of Greed and Invasion or Civilian Killing and Holocausts or Resource Plundering and Theft etc;’ I’m sure readers could offer hundreds more accurate titles for the obscenity that has occurred these past few days? text Iran and the Balkans: Russia Risks Making the Same Mistakes Pyotr Iskenderov via dragan, Saturday, Jun 12 2010, 8:39pm
The recent UN Security Council resolution slapping new sanctions on Iran is likely to become the worst defeat suffered by the Russian diplomacy over the past years. Its negative impact may be persistent and more serious than that of the proclamation of Kosovo's independence to which Russia continues objecting. What we are witnessing seems to be an unexpected recurrence of the syndrome of unilateral concessions to the West which eroded Russia's international politics, especially its Balkan part, in the 90's. Following the Western lead in dealing with Iran, Russia is risking to lose both its positions in a region much more extensive than the Balkans and its hard-earned key role in the raising multipolar world.
