Memories image UN Report: 1 billion HUNGRY harley, Sunday, Jun 21 2009, 9:59am
The incompetence and myopia of self-serving elites has created ready made armies of angry, discontented people that promise to threaten the stability of nations in the VERY NEAR FUTURE! (story and 1 image)

text PNAC: a progress report finn, Saturday, Jun 20 2009, 12:35am
I really can’t say which particular American breach of International Law or violation of human rights did it – there are so many TORTUROUS options to choose from; however, for me it may have been a slow, solid, build-up that culminated in the most profound exposure and subsequent disillusionment with the nation that asserted it would ‘rule the world’ for a century!

On June 5, World Environment Day, Amazon Indians were massacred by the government of Alan Garcia in the latest chapter of a long war to take over common lands—a war unleashed by the signing of the Free Trade Agreement (FTA) between Peru and the United States.

The image below captures more than its component parts; its enduring quality is its ability to speak to ALL human beings regardless of race, culture or nation. It is the story of the IRREPRESSIBLE HUMAN SPIRIT refusing oppression, corruption and FEAR to STAND DEFIANTLY against the odds and eventually OVERCOME all obstacles and achieve emancipation/FREEDOM! PDF Document Top U.N. Official Accuses U.S. of Inhuman 'Atrocities' in Iraq, Afghanistan staff report via reed, Friday, Mar 6 2009, 10:12pm
The Iraq holocaust, as history describes it, has been occurring in full view of both the ICC and the UN for years. Now dated official reports from the Lancet and Johns Hopkins conservatively put the figures of murdered at over half a million! Speaking out now (far too late) after major crimes against humanity have been committed in plain view, one can only but ask, 'is late better than never' when time is measured in (over one million INNOCENT) human lives?

The world's legal and humanitarian institutions have FAILED us all. For shame! You have failed not only the people you are committed to protect but your reason for being. Do you NOW feel that it may be appropriate to hold the culpable to account? The entire world is aware of your miserable failures -- do something right, for Christ's sake! Have the 'direct and indirect perpetrators' of these heinous crimes arrested and put on trial! What hope for you and the world if you do not?

Sirius Star image Black Africans give world a lesson in Asymmetric Warfare Captain, Tuesday, Nov 18 2008, 1:11am
Superpowers are in shock over the news that Somali pirates have seized a super tanker three times the size of an aircraft carrier off the coast of Kenya! Perhaps we should recall the destructive actions of the USA around the globe but particularly in Somalia. The national economy is completely ruined; faced with starvation or slavery, Somalis have developed a lucrative sub-economy from the proceeds of piracy. (story and 2 images)

Predator 'drone' armed with Hellfire missile image Drone warfare Kingfisher, Saturday, Sep 13 2008, 11:19am
I was raised in a world where killing innocent women and children was considered the most heinous of crimes. Why are such acts tolerated today? Hundreds of thousands of children have died as a direct result of US policies and military interventions. However, it appears that in this ‘brave new world’ of Bush, Cheney and mindless ‘Paris Hiltons’ it is acceptable to kill women and children and suffer no serious consequences! The Taliban are only a national resistance movement against foreign occupation forces in Afghanistan" (story and 1 comment)

text The irrefutable lunacy and brazen HYPOCRISY of U.S. Evangelicals fish, Wednesday, Sep 10 2008, 1:04am
Prior to addressing the principal report, updates just to hand confirm America’s tailspin from major international influence to economically and politically bankrupt, pariah nation -- it’s over! The culmination of inane policies and LAWLESS unilateral pursuits could only lead to ruin. Arrogant America NOW begs for assistance when previously, like a headstrong infant, it shunned the globe. The prevailing sentiment from the world is now, ‘you broke EVERYTHING you touched, now deal with it!’

'Home of the SLAVE, land of the SHEEP' image Star-spangled sheep ready for the slaughter Kismo, Saturday, Aug 2 2008, 8:06am
Home of the brave, land of the ‘free,’ ay! The lyrics to a popular song require changing after it was revealed that border guards have powers to confiscate indefinitely, all personal printed and written material, including handwritten notes, all digital data contained on storage devices such as laptops, iphones, flashdrives etc, and write-only storage mediums such as CDs and DVDs. The regulation applies to all, citizen and non-citizen travellers. The law/regulation can be applied without reason or justification on whosoever a ‘guard’ chooses. The criteria for selection remains undefined, which allows for huge abuses of citizens’ rights. One can easily imagine certain personality types/guards disapproving of the way he/she was looked at and reacting immediately with confiscation and intimidation! (story and 2 images)

American breed image Real life incident saturated in Symbolism luis, Saturday, Jul 26 2008, 12:56am
An ‘American breed' fighting dog that attacked an 11 year-old Brazilian boy received the shock of its now very short life. The pit bull, a breed known for its ‘lack of intelligence’ and ‘propensity to attack the innocent,’ was repelled by a counter attack from the boy who lunged at the dog and fastened his teeth onto its neck. The boy lost a tooth fending off the ‘unprovoked’ attack from the vicious, mindless American breed. (story and 1 image)

text For His Treatment of Children in the ‘War on Terror,’ Bush Is a War Criminal Dave Lindorff via reed, Friday, May 23 2008, 8:36am
Surely nothing that President Bush has done in his two wretched terms of office — not the invasion and destruction of Iraq, not the overturning of the five-centuries-old tradition of habeas corpus, not his authorization and encouragement of torture, not his campaign of domestic spying — nothing, can compare in its ugliness as his approval, as commander in chief, of the imprisoning of over 2500 children.

text Cycles of life/death: a time to Kill major mitchell, Friday, May 9 2008, 10:55pm
Is there really a time to kill? A question that has bedevilled pacifists, philosophers, theologians and ALL sentient beings throughout the ages? I would state clearly and emphatically now that all sane humans find killing other human beings the most repugnant act possible! Killing is aberrant behaviour to the extreme and comes at huge cost for the killer, regardless of whether we/society sanction the killing -- soldiers/military, police etc -- or not! Deputy PM and former card carrying 'red', Julia Gillard image Email spying: Gillard’s croc of Stalinist totalitarianism Kismo, Sunday, Apr 13 2008, 8:40pm
The totalitarian leaning Australian government announced today that it would legislate to allow ‘employers/bosses’ to read the emails and other digital communications of their employees. A ‘slight’ intrusion on personal liberties to say the bloody least – perhaps staff should read managements’ emails to maintain a security balance! Who is watching the watchers? No one of course! This strategy is unadulterated totalitarian poison, designed to alienate and engender mistrust and division among employees and make them more amenable to their employer’s control. The feeble excuse offered the Australian public for this unacceptable intrusion is maintaining “national security.” Not so, Ms Stasi Gillard! (story and 1 image)

Rudd insulting his Chinese hosts image Kevin Rudd, errand boy and hypocrite barra, Wednesday, Apr 9 2008, 6:17am
The Australian PM and U.S. errand boy, Kevin Rudd, very un-diplomatically took the American position on Tibet while on an official visit to China. It seems our pipsqueak leader has forgotten his primary responsibility of promoting and pursuing Australian interests. Daddy America came first with Howard and Rudd is nothing if not a Howard clone. Our Kevin is running the same slavish course set by Howard. (story and 1 comment and 1 image)

Propaganda has largely replaced news in the modern world; this is particularly the case with regimes that flout law, civil liberties and humanitarian issues. Occasionally the news cannot be manipulated contorted or dressed in fine lies to make it palatable. This is the case with torture. (story and 1 comment)

Central Torture Agency image TORTURE! reed, Tuesday, Feb 5 2008, 10:47am
The CIA finally admits utilising torture on "three" separate occasions, give us a break! ‘Waterboarding,’ a euphemism for administered slow drowning, is not new to the USA. We can safely add at least two zeros to that hysterically absurd CIA figure. American Nazi torturers may have finally learnt what any good book on the subject or an interview with torture victims would have revealed -- ‘information extracted under torture conforms to the torturer's wishes!’ Accuracy has little bearing on information torturers wish to hear – though it is common for torturers to confuse wish-fulfilment with accuracy! child soldiers image Let the Children Play peptide, Wednesday, Jan 23 2008, 8:56pm
Shame on us all for tolerating the needless deaths of millions of innocent children worldwide but especially in Africa. Have we all become heartless PIG Americans? Remember the embargo Clinton placed on Iraq, which killed more children than the Bush invasion and subsequent war? The non-intervention of Condi Rice and John Bolton in South Lebanon resulted in more children killed than military casualties – give war a chance! Callousness, heartlessness and self-interest result in the deaths of millions of children every year but who cares as long as our tanks are full? (story and 2 images)
