text Oz PM, Rudd, constantly evading major issues/responsibilities fish, Thursday, Jul 10 2008, 10:04pm
Whenever critical issues face the nation the Australian public can count on Rudd running from them as fast as he can. Where is Rudd when the nation requires REAL leadership and decisive action, in bloody Malaysia evading his responsibilities?

text Australia has no better ‘friend’ than Sarin Gas America nano, Sunday, Jul 6 2008, 12:13am
‘Shit floats,’ but for those with bourgeois sensibilities, the truth always surfaces. However, we need a suitable context to emphasise the point and what better context than the behaviour of the current and previous slaves to America, Prime Ministers Kevin Rudd and John Howard! We hope the issue of America’s true attitude to Australia – and the world -- will be clarified once and for ALL! Satisfaction guaranteed for patriot Aussies and cringing colonialists alike! text Real Australian spirit required to remedy national crises major mitchell, Tuesday, Jun 24 2008, 10:59pm
Enough time has passed for every Aussie to conclude that the Rudd government, faced with critical issues, is GUTLESS and USELESS! Rudd and his mob of no-hopers appear even more servile and slavish to U.S. dictates and corporate interests than the previous Howard government -- as inconceivable as that REALITY may be for most Aussies. However, after seven months of Rudd’s vacuous parading and poncing around, blind Freddy sees!

wheatglobe.jpg image Sowing the wind nano, Tuesday, May 20 2008, 11:04pm
Over twenty years ago (take note Al) an Australian commercial channel aired a program on the impending destructive effects of pollution on the climate and the environment. It was a measured, rational, non-sensationalist but heavily supported with scientific data presentation. It detailed the effects of global warming on major ocean currents and the dire consequences for North-Western Europe; it highlighted the potential wholesale destruction of sensitive coral reefs and the maritime ecology. It referred to biological indicators, stressed amphibians, frogs and the disturbed migration pattern of birds. All evident at the time – 20 years ago! But the most alarming indicator was accelerated glacial melting/receding -- high mountain glaciers feed the world’s largest food producing river systems! (story and 2 comments and 2 images)

text Underground water set to soar in value budgie, Sunday, May 11 2008, 11:16pm
The story from the San Francisco Chronicle (see link) on water scarcity, compounds the crisis of skyrocketing rice, wheat and maize prices around the globe! We are ALL facing starvation and unprecedented social unrest on a global scale but are we ready?

text The ‘right royals’ dingo, Friday, Apr 25 2008, 10:21pm
At times we Aussies, usually for a number of reasons, get ‘the right royal shits’ and this is one of those ‘fuck everything’ days – everyone should have one, the therapeutic benefits are immeasurable! But to return to the causative factors: Australia’s hollow PM, Kevin Rudd, was in his element yesterday performing before the media at one of the nation’s most enduring and FORMATIVE commemorative ceremonies – ANZAC day.

Kevin Rudd -- the pretend PM image The ‘Claytons’ Prime Minister Kingfisher, Monday, Mar 31 2008, 9:04pm
Kevin Rudd, the leader you have when you do not have a real leader, has left the country to prance and posture on the world stage. Rudd is a man of impressions NOT actions, a media performer, a petty bureaucrat, expert in the ‘art’ of looking busy! All bureaucrats learn early in their careers how to ‘fake it’ and delegate the job to another. However, Rudd is less than expert in the art of political deception, his electoral PROMISE of Australian troop withdrawal from Iraq is a good test of his integrity and performance! Bereft PM, Kevin Rudd -- what do I do now? image Rudderless Rudd – we knew it from the start! budgie, Sunday, Feb 3 2008, 10:59am
The clearest indication our new ‘fearless leader,’ Kevin, is a clueless, bereft twerp, came in the form of a plea for ideas on how to run the country! Prior to addressing that disgraceful request our first recommendation to Rudd and his band of bereft eunuchs would be to look up the word GOVERN in any dictionary – for the nation’s sake! text The Age of Cowardice finn, Friday, Feb 1 2008, 7:46am
The most outstanding feature of almost two decades of Australian ‘leadership’ is COWARDICE and the social paralysis that it engenders. A decade of John Howard’s disgustingly servile leadership continues with another face and another party. Labor’s PM, Kevin Rudd, is proving to be even more timid and frightened than his predecessor – most Aussies thought that would be impossible, however, reality is difficult to deny!

Jack Johnson image The Line barra, Wednesday, Jan 16 2008, 9:41pm
There is a line drawn invisibly in all societies, a line that prudent rulers dare not cross.

When the sheeple, the common herd, the moronic masses wake up to the ‘facts‘ and become aware of the machinations, incompetence and failings of their rulers, the State of play changes dramatically; one can almost taste change in the air. Forget the clichéd slogans, I’m talking about a set of social circumstances that propel certain people into places and into roles they could never have envisioned. (story and 1 image)

Wayne Swan image A lasting imprint or a national characteristic? barra, Thursday, Jan 10 2008, 10:49am
Have no doubt that national leaders leave their ‘mark’ on a nation. Former PM John Howard’s greatest achievement has been largely overlooked, as it was a secondary by-product of his conservative politics of fear and servility. Inadvertently or otherwise Howard succeeded in reshaping the opposition Labor party and creating a Labor leader in his own image! That development has been most unfortunate for Australia, as Howard’s most notable characteristic while in office was COWARDICE! [His second most notable characteristic was servility.] (story and 2 images)

Harold Holt image Kevin Rudd: the invisible PM peptide, Wednesday, Jan 9 2008, 9:06am
Australia is not short of critical issues affecting the nation at present. Perhaps the most politically damaging -- but by no means the most important – are bank interest rate hikes and the lack of regulation in this regard! The parasitic Banks are attempting – successfully at this stage -- to pass the cost of THEIR INCOMPETENCE to the public! The feeble and outrageous excuse given to Rudd’s eunuch government and the Australian people is that interest rates have risen in order to compensate for losses sustained from “exposure” to the U.S. credit crisis; in other words, ‘I want YOU to pay for MY incompetence,’ say the banks! ‘Impressive’ manoeuvre! The arrogance of deregulated Australian banks knows no bounds as is clearly evident today; it seems the word RESPONSIBILITY only applies to the public [servicing bank loans] but not to Bank executives – a very nice arrangement, for some! text Authorities desperate to stigmatise Hicks nano, Monday, Dec 31 2007, 9:12am
The South Australian Premier, Mike Rann, is best known for his corrupt complicity in allowing BHP Billiton to extract -- FREE OF CHARGE -- millions of litres (per day) of precious drinking water from OUR artesian basin. One can only imagine the amount or ‘incentives’ offered this ‘honourable’ politician for the privilege! A man with no moral fibre is in no position to judge or demand apologies from anyone, especially victims of torture. (story and 1 comment)

ponyrudd.jpg image The Murdoch media praises show pony, Kevin Rudd nano, Saturday, Dec 15 2007, 9:55am
Rupert Murdoch’s show pony, Kevin Rudd, is the focus of foaming praise in the local mass media. One report described Rudd as almost walking on water and appearing taller than his actual diminutive height, another Murdoch rag described him as “shining” – give us a break! But ain’t it a shame Kevin ignored the issue of five murdered Australians; shirking the responsibility of bringing the Balibo murderers to justice is noted -- another 'fearless' leader in the Howard tradition! But our Kevin was made for prancing and the Bali summit afforded the perfect opportunity for Murdoch's new show pony to strut his stuff on the international stage. Our Kevin didn't disappoint, he proved to be a very well trained (Shetland) pony indeed -- his owners should be very pleased! (story and 1 comment and 2 images)

The corporate selection, Howard and Rudd image Corporate control confirmed by vacuous Oz election Kingfisher, Thursday, Nov 22 2007, 12:03pm
The current Australian federal election has seen the population barraged with non-substantive slogans, marketing tricks, rhetoric, negative fear campaigns and personal attacks BUT VERY LITTLE IN THE WAY OF REAL POLICIES! Neither major party has detailed policies for what promises to be a very dire future for the planet but particularly for Australia. That is the tragedy of corporate controlled Australia today; make no mistake, the two leaders vying for government have pledged their allegiance to the corporate sector above all else! Racist, coward and war cirminal: the 'best' PM we've ever had! image Today’s Colonial Australia dingo, Monday, Nov 19 2007, 10:34am
What a pathetic lot Aussies really are; their current war criminal leader, John Howard, typifies the national character perfectly. The former British (now American) colony continues to suffer from a colonial cringe mentality a century after declaring Federation. Someone forgot to declare a national IDENTITY at the time of federation and Aussies have suffered lackey status and inferiority ever since! (story and 1 image)

Carmel Travers image Seeking Carmel Travers barra, Sunday, Nov 4 2007, 11:09am
The title indirectly hints at the fact that this intro is an indictment of the current crop of Oz journalists and a tribute to Carmel Travers – who it seems was the last real Australian journalist willing to pursue the Truth at any cost.

In the wake of a damning report assessing declining press freedoms and disappearing government transparency, Travers’ outstanding professionalism and character shines like a beacon in the dark mire of selective, biased and servile reporting. Travers clearly refused to accommodate the new neatly ‘tailored’ form of journalism, which has more in common with propaganda and entertainment than investigative reporting. (story and 2 images)

Virginia Trioli image Conservative Jitters peptide, Tuesday, Oct 23 2007, 1:52pm
The last thing any incumbent government wants to hear at election time is incriminating information relating to past failures, unpopular decisions and damaging indiscretions – ‘let’s stay focused on the NOW,’ is the new slogan of the conservatives. Little wonder, as the current PM is responsible for dragging the nation into an illegal war, abandoning citizens to foreign powers, surrendering drug mules to barbaric regimes to face the death penalty, deporting Australian citizens who didn’t have European round eyes and white skin, instigating race riots, allowing corporations to dictate policy, fast tracking approval for the Pluto and Gorgon gas projects and BHP evading water costs that local farmers face daily! We could add surrendering the nation to the yanks and its wealth to the Transnationals while allowing necessary services – education, health/dental, infrastructures, road/rail, housing and energy to fall into disrepair or neglect. Lemmings image The Politics of Paralysis yarra, Friday, Oct 5 2007, 12:15pm
The outstanding feature of economic rationalism and laissez-faire capitalism is the LACK of an IDEAL, in other words to what end do WE SUPPORT these rapacious, voracious and highly polluting economic ideologies? What is the ideal of economically based systems and what is the cost? The answer to the first question is a negative – no ideal exists – the process itself substitutes for the ideal and that is a very dangerous situation. The ‘God’ of laissez-faire capitalists and economic rationalists is the rampant process of consumption itself! We are all aware that the principal causative factor for global warming, climate chaos, ecological destruction and the mass extinctions of plant and animal life is POLLUTION! (story and 1 image)

Dedicated to a treeless Australia -- eat pulp not seafood! image Dying embers Kingfisher, Thursday, Oct 4 2007, 12:03pm
The Howard racist government has plainly lost the plot as is clearly evident in the announcements and statements of Immigration Minister, Kevin ‘no Africans here’ Andrews and Howard enforcer, Bill ‘yellow peril’ Heffernan. But the overt racism of these two ideological dinosaurs has not delivered the final deathblow to the Howard antiquated government. That dubious honour goes to Malcolm ‘rice balls’ Turnbull, who has so ‘expertly’ committed personal political suicide (over his handling of the red-hot Gunns, pulp mill issue) the flow-over effect threatens to drag his party under with him! For the want of a Tasmanian marginal seat the whole party was lost -- and it couldn’t have happened to a more deserving bunch of incompetent cowards. (story and 2 images)
