Banana Accomplished

After years of listening to Bush make excuses for his murderous invasion and subsequent failure in Iraq I again took to the keyboard with the intention of detailing the reality of the world’s most denied holocaust. But it dawned on me that the problem was not really Bush or his neo-cons or any other member of the coalition of criminals and imbeciles – it is the apathetic population whose utter indifference has allowed the situation to deteriorate.

Banana in Orbit

It’s the same ol’ song of lies and the same hard reality of horrendous suffering, social disintegration and mass murder. Iraq has proven that reality carries less weight than the delusions of buffoons and the criminally insane. It is only fitting that I now add to the ‘reality’ which has displaced the ‘fantasy’ – the inversion is complete.

“Yes, we have no bananas
We have-a no bananas today.
Just try those coconuts
Those wall-nuts and doughnuts
There ain't many nuts like they.
We'll sell you two kinds of red herring,
Dark brown, and ball-bearing.
But yes, we have no bananas
We have no bananas today.”

Winning has no meaning whatsoever in the Iraq context – we would all like to know exactly what it is we will win – spell it out, define the prize! But of course we know that's impossible, to define the prize would expose the entire criminal enterprise that is the Iraq intervention.
