Bradley Manning image Diminutive Poof, Bradley Manning, teaches American 'he-men' Honour and Character Ed Pilkington via dorothy, Monday, Jun 4 2012, 2:02pm
Homosexual soldier, prisoner of conscience and social hero, Bradley Manning, continues to compromise the US military as each day passes. The depths to which the Pentagon has sunk in order to railroad Manning promises to leave an indelible stain on the US military forever; the criminal Pentagon simply CANNOT survive this case in any moral, legal or civilised context. text Aussies Turn their Backs on Major Parties smiley, Sunday, Jun 3 2012, 11:31am
The Australian Labor and Liberal Parties have been rejected by the majority of Aussies as unrepresentative sell-outs to Big Business, the Corporations and Washington. How did the Labor Party expect to survive Gillard's disgusting and insulting LIE on the Carbon crucifixion and how did the Liberal Party hope to survive after Howard's shameless, cowardly kowtowing to Washington's every whim to the extent of involving us in America's illegal and immoral civilian killing wars?

Have no doubts regarding which interests Oz governments serve today. Everyone seems to be benefiting from the Oz mining boom except the Australian people! Billions in profits are siphoned off for corporate elites, Transnationals and Banks but precious little goes into necessary services and infrastructure. Substandard Oz health and dental services continue to suffer due to lack of 'available' funds -- a very odd scenario despite the FACT that it is the PEOPLE that legally OWN the nation's natural wealth. fukushima_radioactive_water.jpg image Fukushima: Thousands of Tonnes of Radioactive water pour into the Pacific Daily blogger via radium, Friday, Jun 1 2012, 11:48pm
Japan has given up attempting to contain the billions of litres of radioactive water used to cool stricken Daiichi reactors at Fukushima; with international approval the highly polluted water has been allowed to flow directly into the Pacific Ocean since the time the initial disaster struck. Consider the amount already leaked, then consider the amount yet to be dumped into the Pacific, as there is no easy method available to stabilise these stricken reactors. Fukushima is an international disaster in progress. (story and 1 comment and 1 image)

CIA partner and international Wi-Fi HACKING company extraordinaire, Google, faces extreme measures if it doesn't alter its data management/search policies, the Guardian reports. However, with chairman, Eric 'sweetie' Schmidt, scheduled to attend the Bilderberg gathering again this year whatever measures are taken be sure they will not inhibit information juggernaut Google from illegally hacking, manipulating searches and continuing to suppress/censor data in the future. Sociopath, Hillary Clinton, Bilderberg attendee image No Doubts regarding Orchestrated conflict in Syria? ben, Friday, Jun 1 2012, 12:21am
I think it was 'dubya' Bush who once said 'fool me once, I'm an idiot, fool me twice, I'm a moron but fool all the time and I'm an American!

Surely, after gross NATO war crimes in Libya and the obvious proxy assassination of Gaddafi, "we came, we saw, he died," the USA and NATO have no credibility whatsoever regarding 'humanitarian interventions" or as peacemakers. Quite the contrary, the US/NATO create/make WARS for the benefit of their Corporations and Reserve Banking System, which is currently tightening its grip on the global economy and political situation. This is not a new discovery. It has been known for some time that major chip manufacturers create 'back doors' in their products. The usefulness of these undocumented features will soon be weighed against the extreme dangers they pose. (story and 1 image)

FLORENCE, May 28, 2012 (IPS) - Though the current global economic and financial crises are undoubtedly devastating much of the world, they present the perfect opportunity for remodeling our economic system, according to participants at the ninth annual Terra Futura (Future Earth) exhibition of ‘good practices’ in social, economic and environmental sustainability held here from May 25-27. kidmanefron.jpg image Hollywood takes Golden Shower - Kidman pisses in face of co-star goldie, Tuesday, May 29 2012, 9:32pm
In its desperate search for new sensationlist gimmicks, the US film industry has resorted to the 'golden shower;' a topic usually reserved for lockerroom jokes. Aging actress, Nicole 'no appeal' Kidman, gratuitously pisses in the face of co-star, Zac Efron. No doubt some desperate director will trump that scene with a 'steamer' in someone's mouth. Goodbye America -- in every way, you stink! (story and 2 comments and 2 images)

Retreat from Kabul - 1842 image Afghanistan behind the Media Facade Eric Margolis via reed, Tuesday, May 29 2012, 12:17am
One of my favorite artists was the superb Victorian painter Elizabeth Butler who captured in oil the triumphs and tragedies of the British Empire. Her haunting painting, “The Retreat from Kabul, ” shows the sole survivor of a British army of 16,500, Dr. William Brydon, struggling out of Afghanistan in January, 1842. All the rest were killed by Afghan tribesmen after a futile attempt to garrison Kabul. (story and 2 images)

When America commits war crimes, they are not really war crimes! The absurd double standard and tissue thin excuses the US presents to a civilized, moral world regarding its CONTINUING war and other crimes against humanity are completely unacceptable. The US can't have it both ways. (story and 1 image)

text US/NATO breeding division, conflict and chaos in Africa Dan Glazebrook via stele, Friday, May 25 2012, 11:54pm
The scale of the ongoing tragedy visited on Libya by NATO and its allies is becoming horribly clearer with each passing day. Estimates of those killed so far vary, but 50,000 seems like a low estimate; indeed the British Ministry of Defence was boasting that the onslaught had killed 35,000 as early as last May. But this number is constantly growing.

text Oz Carbon Tax - no effect whatsoever on Global Emissions or Climate! rae, Friday, May 25 2012, 1:11pm
It is clear that the banker-corporate designed Carbon Tax that Juliar Gillard dutifully imposed on the people of Australia will have no effect whatsoever on global emissions or climate. But it will provide a huge bounty for banks and government with increased costs across the board for average Aussies.

text The Criminal Banking System that Controls our Politicians Ann Robertson and Bill Leumer via stele, Monday, May 21 2012, 9:56pm
When homeowners have fallen behind in their mortgage payments, whether because of a job loss or because the interest rates just shot up, the bankers have responded coldly. Led by their economic interests, they set their robo-signers working overtime on foreclosures, forcing millions of people out of their homes. Back during the height of this current economic crisis, when Congress considered passing legislation that would have allowed judges to lower home loans in order to prevent these foreclosures, the banks lobbied furiously and killed the legislation.
